This is by far one of the most surprising guitars we've played this year. One can't help but be skeptical when a builder uses an unconventional bracing system like Gypsy Rye Bear does with his falcate bracing which are reinforced by carbon fibre. People always say "Don't fix it if it's not broken", but I think GR really proved everyone wrong with this.

Despite being a really small bodied instrument with a shallow depth, the guitar exudes an enormous voice that belies it size. It is one of the loudest, most responsive guitars we have ever played and it just excels when played with the slightest touch which is perfect for fingerstyle.
